• Device Information: Device model, operating system, app version, and unique device identifiers.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the app (screens visited, features used, and timestamps).
• Push Notification Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens used to deliver app notifications.
• Log Data: Technical request logs, including IP address and timestamp, used for security and debugging.

We use the collected information to:

• Provide Core Functionality: Authenticate users, store session data, and sync your progress across devices.
• Notifications: Send relevant app notifications, reminders, and updates when enabled.

We do NOT sell your personal information. We may share data with:

3.1 Service Providers

• Google Firebase: For authentication, Firestore storage, cloud messaging, and hosting. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Google Cloud Platform: For backend API infrastructure and operations.

3.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.

3.3 Business Transfers

If Lore is acquired or merged, your data may be transferred to the new owner, and we will provide notice where required by law.

4. Data Retention

• Account Data: Stored until you delete your account.
• User Content: Retained while your account remains active or until you remove it.
• Progress Data: Retained to support continuity of your experience across sessions and devices.
• Notifications: Stored in Firestore; you can delete them manually.
• Backend Logs: Temporary logs with user IDs are kept for 30 days for debugging, then auto-deleted.

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Access and Update

You can view and edit your profile, language preference, and created content within the app.

5.2 Delete Your Data

• Specific Data: You can request deletion of specific data associated with your account.

5.3 Opt-Out of Notifications

Disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• Firebase Authentication (secure token-based auth)
• Firestore Security Rules (users can only access their own data)

Lore is not intended for users under 13 years old (or under the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data is stored on Google Cloud servers, which may be located outside your country. By using the app, you consent to this transfer. We ensure Firebase complies with GDPR and other privacy regulations.

9. Third-Party Links

The app may contain links to external sites (e.g., when sharing content). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.

10. Changes to This Policy
